The new kitchen knobs make it A LOT easier to do things like this...

Handy Andy
My daddy is a jack of all trades. He is always working on projects around the house. Recently, he added a tile backsplash to the kitchen. This past weekend, he added knobs and put crown moulding on all of the cabinets. Mommy insists how much more fun it is to cook dinner with the new-looking cabinets. Nice job, dada!

30 (the new 20)
Happy Birthday Aunt Katie! Mommy and I don't know what we'd do without you. You are such a wonderful friend and you spoil me so much. We hope that this is your best year yet! :) We love you.

Crisis Avoided
The one tried and true method of calming me down during a meltdown is to put me in my hot rod. If I'm really mad, there's no better way to cheer me up than a little cruise around the house. Much to Sadie's dislike, I've learned how to honk the horn. To put it mildly, it scares her to death and she scrambles away every time!

Pots & Pans
Normally, the lower kitchen cabinets are on lock down. I can open them about an inch and then the cabinet door gets stuck so that I can't open it any further (how frustrating). As much as I pull, yank, and tug, the door doesn't budge. Someone happened to leave it open today and I found the most spectaular items hidden behind the door. I managed to pull out some silver, shiny things with big handles that make the best noise when you bang on the them!

Oink, Oink
What was the inspiration for my costume??? Nope, not Piglet. It wasn't Wilbur from Charlotte's Web either. I wasn't thinking of Porky or Babe. I was going more for an authentic, original idea... the pot-bellied pig!
HallZOOween
Lions, tigers, and bears... oh my! Our visit to the Hallzooween event was so much fun. Highlights of the day included:
1. Wearing my pig costume and seeing all of the other princesses, dinosaurs, clowns, witches, Luke Skywalkers, and pirates throughout the day.
2. The zookeepers gave the gorillas, bears, monkeys, and elephants large pumpkins to eat, smash, and throw.
3. Trick or treating around the zoo. UDF icecream was one of the treats... yummy!

Fort Liberty Park
As the leaves change color and the breezes become cooler, it is the perfect time of year for playing at the park. Luckily for me, we have an awesome playground just a short walk from our house (although we usually drive...)

Weeeeeeeee!!!!!
I was feeling a little unsure about the slide, so daddy went with me.
Daddy pushed us, while mommy and I held on tight!
I'm not quite big enough yet for the popular tire swing.
*I'd like to give a special shout out to all my BG homies... Great Aunt Pat, Mary, Steven, Jennifer, and Amanda! Go Falcons!

New Discovery
I thought Barney was only on the pbs channel, but I was wrong. Daddy helped me to find him on the world wide web... YIPPPEEE!

Sharing
My big purple friend, Barney, has taught me that "it's not too tough, to share your stuff". One green bean for me, one for Sadie...

Girls Night In
While daddy relived his 'ole college days with buddies at BGSU, mommy and I headed over to Natalie and Libby's house to keep the girls company. Aunt Katie happily agreed to join us and went the extra mile by bringing along a fun fall craft! Some of the highlights of the evening included:
A Dance Show (complete with tickets and assigned seating)
Making (and eating) Icing
Making Scary Haunted Houses!
