After lunch and play time, I always settle down for some afternoon shuteye. On this particular day, I was a little out of sorts and couldn't get to sleep. I tried counting sheep. I tried taking deep, calming breaths. I tried sucking my thumb. I couldn't seem to do anything to make myself fall asleep. I preferred to talk, coo, and wiggle my way all around the pack-n-play.

I am sorry you couldn't sleep. Sleeping is good for you and for your mommy and daddy. Next time just think about how wonderful it is to sleep and shut those pretty eyes!
