The THREE year old!

Three (incredibly fast) years ago...

Our sweet, smart and sassy Sydney was born! She is THREE... can it really be?! Every day is so much fun watching her grow and learn new things. She is our bright, funny, strong-willed, and imaginative girl. She loves princesses, books, dancing, music, and baby dolls. She is endlessly inquisitive and curious about the world around her. The question of every day... "Why?!" We are incredibly proud of the beautiful, loving, spunky little girl that she is!

One Year Ago Today...

Our sweet, smiley Reid was born! He is such a blessing to our family and lights up our days with constant smiles, giggles, and snuggles. If we had to use one word to describe our baby of the family, it would be jolly. He is a happy and content little man who adores his big sister. We love you Reid!!!

A Casualty of the Move

We were so very proud that we didn't lose anything in the move.... right up until our camera battery died and needed a charge. We have so many pictures to share, but our camera isn't willing to cooperate without a little juice! Until we get our camera back in action, enjoy these pics from the Heritage parade.

Blast From the Past

We had an incredibly fun trip down history lane at Sauder Village last week with Aunt Pat and Uncle Phil. They spoiled us with nonstop fun, the largest hotel room we've ever stayed in, and wonderful memories! From the buggy and train ride to the perfectly sized playhouse full of fun stuff, it was an awesome getaway. :)

Sydney's Landscaping Co.

Sydney's Landscaping Co. is running a great special! A perfectly cut lawn, free rides on the mower, and one happy daddy are now included in the standard mowing package.

Not Much Better

Getting Settled

Where have we been? Unpacking and getting settled in our new house while squeezing in some time getting mommy's classroom ready for the new school year. We also welcomed a new baby boy to the family this week. August Jameson was born on Wednesday and is the cutest 'lil cousin. Congrats to Uncle Doug, Aunt Cecilly, and cousin Will! Pictures to come soon...

10 (almost 11) Months Old

WHAT IS REID UP TO THESE DAYS?

- Weighs 21 lbs.

- Wears 9-12 months clothes

- 6 teeth (4 upper, 2 lower)

- Sleeps with his snuggly

- Started out with a super speedy army crawl, but is now up on all fours crawling like a pro.

- Pulling up on everything and cruising along the furniture

- waves and responds to "soooo big"

LOVES:

- riding in the front of a shopping cart

- putting anything and everything in his mouth

- being anywhere that Sydney is... playing with any toy that Sydney wants :)

- throwing balls and then chasing them

- riding in the wagon

- being tossed up in the air

- playing peek-a-boo
- showing off his a-dorable dimples

- chasing the vacuum

- being tickled

SAYS:

DOESN'T LOVE:

- baby gates

- that his hair is growing over his ears and mommy won't cut it yet

Ups & Downs

The downside to moving... packing boxes, boxes, and more boxes.

The upside to moving... empty boxes make tunnels of fun!

Giddy-Up

I saddled up on Sunday for a leisurely stroll around the barn at Parky's Farm.

Balloon Glow

On Saturday, we packed up the wagon and headed to the Midfirst Balloon Festival with Namaw. It was so hot, but so cool!!!

Split Ends

I had my first haircut after growing my hair out for over 2 1/2 years! Strangely, mommy's eyes started to water a little during the cut as she mumbled something about me getting bigger and growing so fast. :)

Top Chef

My sous chef Reid and I are preparing a gourmet meal for mommy. The menu includes beef wellington, wild mushroom risotto, and roasted shallots prepared in a port wine reduction sauce.

Okayyy, you guys know that my mommy would never eat a meal that can't be found on the children's menu, so we are making her mac' n cheese. :)

We had SO MUCH FUN with baby Evelyn while her mommy and daddy had a date night! :)

When Reid wasn't eating sand or scoping babes in bikinis, he had his own private cabana on the beach...

The warm breezes and shade provided the perfect spot for some serious snoozing.
