Thankful

After three thanksgiving dinners, my belly is full! I certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year. Here are just a few things...
#1: ALL of my family that welcomed me with delicious turkey
dinners and many, many snuggles. :)
#2: Pumpkin Pie
#3: Pajamas with footies
#4: Waking up to my first snowfall!

Check out our turkey day photos...

Hattie

As the cold weather settles in, my collection of hats is growing and growing and growing...

Super Fun!

I looove playing with this activity gym (for about 6 minutes at the most!). My favorite part is looking at the hanging monkey, elephant, and giraffe... they make very interesting squeak and crackle sounds! I sometimes take a quick break from the hanging toys to stare at myself in the mirror.

BRABE

Brooke + Abe= Brabe

My mom's best friend, Brooke, and her family (hubby Abe & kids Elijah and Emma) came from Hotlanta to stay for the weekend. We tried to hit all of the 'nati favorites... Skyline, Big Boy, LaRosa's and Montgomery Inn. Deeeeeelicious! In between visits to each of the above mentioned restaurants, we wondered on down to the Festival of Lights. Oh what a sight! Click on the picture above for the rest of the photos from our fun-filled weekend. :)

Will You Accept This Rose?

Between naps, I like to squeeze in a little television time. My dad really likes for me to watch...

My mom, on the other hand, likes for me to watch...

Buckeyes (the team, not the candy)

Not only am I a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, but I also loooooove Kirk Herbstreit. I wake up early on Saturdays so that I don't miss College Gameday. He is a major hunk!

Zzzzzzz...

My mom and I like to take little catnaps in the afternoon. Ahhhhh, how good it feels to snuggle.

A Grand Time

Babymoon (ba/by/moon)-noun: 1. a romantic trip taken by a couple prior to the arrival of a baby. 2. The brief quiet before the enduring storm of parenthood that will change your life forever. Ex: My dad surprised my mom with a very relaxing, wonderful babymoon on Mackinaw Island.

Think horsedrawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, temperatures in the 70's, gentle lake breezes... just what my mom and dad needed before the big day!!!

Big Gummy Grin

After a lot tries, I finally got out my first SMILE!!! It's hard coordinating all of those face muscles to put out a big grin. Judging from my parents reaction, they were pretty excited!

*My smile hasn't been captured on film yet, but as soon as it is the clipart will be replaced.

Chocolate is a Girl's Best Friend

How lucky can a girl be to have an aunt that works for the largest North American candy manufacturer?!! My Aunt Anna works for the Hershey company.... whoo hoo! A few of my favorites sweet treats are: kitkats, m & m's, and reese cups.

Fashion Savvy

Thanks to my incredibly generous Aunt Katie (who happens to looove the janie and jack boutique), I have a new beautiful wardrobe for the Thanksgiving holiday. The pink and brown polka dot sweater dress is perfect for Thanksgiving day while the floral one-piece will be great for shopping on Black Friday!

Stitches of Love

My Great Aunt Sue made an incredibly special gift for my nursery. Many, many hours of hard work and love were put into a beautiful, personalized wall hanging. I love the Mother Goose theme!

Namesake

I was named after my precious puppy, Sadie Rebecca... just kidding, Mimi! Sadie was a little nervous when I first came home, but she's warming up nicely. She likes to give me kisses on my head. I can't wait until I'm big enough to ride on her!

BFF (best friends forever)

My cousin, Libby, is my very best friend. I wonder when I'll start getting an allowance because I've got my eye on the fancy necklace below. :)

New Weight Class

In this ring, we have Sassy Sydney weighing in at an incredible 10 lbs. 1 oz. My mom's reeeeally hoping that I'll start sleeping through the night now, but I've got plans of my own. :)

Shout Out

I'd like to give a special shout out to my Aunt Cecilly! Her blog at http://dandelionjelly.blogspot.com/ inspired me to create my own page. She is a very talented blogger!

Love Triangle

What's a girl to do when she has two potential loves? I've had my eye on this cutie named Brooks for awhile. His smile just melts me...

Then, I met this very adorable and handsome boy named Connor that stole my heart with his beautiful blue eyes. Look at the way he's checking me out!

Lounging at the Lake

Nothing is better than some rest and relaxation at Indian Lake. Our weekend went a little something like this: eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep... you get the idea. My dad did do a little fishing and caught a trophy* size fish. We also squeezed in a visit with our wonderful friends Mary, Ken, and Connor. What a fun weekend!

Hallmoooween

My first Halloween was utterly fun! I passed out candy to some crazy characters... spiderman, spongebob, a ninja, and a few that I couldn't quite figure out. My mom already got my costume for next year. I'll give you a hint..... oink! oink!

Note: the barnyard theme is not intentional... the costumes are just very cute.

What's up Cuz...

My cousins, Natalie and Libby, came over for a festive night of pumpkin carving. It turns out that they really don't like to carve pumpkins at all (they think the insides are gross). Sooo... my daddy did a great job carving and my cousins did a great job watching!
