Congratulations to Aunt Anna and Uncle Bryan on tying the knot!!! It was a beautiful celebration in Oxford. May 31st will always be a special day to remember!

Tippy Toes

Gotcha!

We finally pulled off a party that's been a top secret mission. We surprised Mimi with a 60th birthday party. She was SHOCKED! As she walked through the door and saw all of her friends and family, she froze and then yelled something that I couldn't hear because mommy quickly covered my ears and said something about earmuffs! :) I had to leave the party around my bedtime, but mommy and daddy stayed up late to celebrate Mimi's special night!

All of the guests surprised Mimi by wearing a "face cover" as she walked through the door. As a small favor for celebrating with us, each guest took home a cd collection of songs by Mimi's favorite artists.

Clap, Clap

If you're happy and you know it clap your hands! My resume of new skills now includes clapping. I clap when I'm happy, when I'm sad, when my diaper is stinky, when I hear music, when Sadie barks, when mommy sneezes.... I clap all day long.

Jumping Waves

Papa and Natalie have some serious hops! They had a blast jumping the waves in the Outer Banks.

Southern Belle

Sometimes SPF 50 doesn't completely do the trick, so a little extra coverage by my wide-brimmed sun hat (with matching cover-up) made all the difference.

100% Authentic

Being that it's June and the Atlantic Ocean hasn't had a chance to really warm up from the spring chill, it took a brave soul to dive right in the water. My Papa, Uncle Doug, and Aunt Cecilly decided to go for it and this is what happened when they were surprisingly struck by a wave. The looks on their faces spell C-O-L-D to me!

Road Trip

My bags are packed and I'm ready to hit the road. Our family is heading south for a little rest and relaxation in the Outer Banks. We've pretty much packed everything but the kitchen sink for our 10-day stay. I'll be soakin' up the sun and playing in the sand until Sunday, June 22nd. See ya later alligators!

Whale of a Good Time

Swimming in my backyard pool is a blast. Daddy makes sure that it's about 85 degrees at all times... now that's what I'm talking about. I love playing with my water toys and splashing Sadie. Hey, that's what she gets for using my swimming pool as a water dish.

It's Mimi's birthday today! It's a special birthday cause she is ** years young. Here's a formula to figure out how many years it's been since the day she was born:

Next Best Thing

When mommy and daddy head out for a night on the town, they call in the support troops (i.e. Mimi and Grandma). My Grandma and Mimi treat me like gold. They (practically) serve up my bottles on a silver platter. They kiss, snuggle, hug and then repeat, repeat, repeat. One little whimper translates to a plea for immediate assistance and they are right there in a flash. I am lucky to have such loving, nurturing grandmas. I love you Mimi and Grandma!

I recently acquired a "Johnny Jump-Up" from my cousins. I can hardly stand how much fun it is to jump, jump, jump! Seriously, Tigger's got nothing on me.

Decaf Please

Jessie Spano needed a little pick-me-up, so she popped a few caffeine supplements. Judging from her reaction, I'm really glad that mommy and daddy stopped drinking the high-octane Diet Coke. The lesson is loud and clear... looks like I'll be on a strict water/juice ONLY regimen.

Feeling Blue

Things that are blue: bluebirds, forget-me-not flowers, jeans, the sky, blueberries.. and my birthstone, the sapphire!

So Close

Crawling is tough work. It takes a lot of effort to move my arms and legs together in a forward motion. Meanwhile, Sadie uses my intense concentration to snag some of my toys (check her out in the background). Not cool, Sadie, not cool.

Aye Aye Captain

We celebrated the Memorial Day weekend with some fun at Indian Lake. It was a weekend of many firsts. Not only did I captain a ship, but I also sprouted my seventh tooth AND said "ma" for the first time!
