What Does Easter Mean to Us?

It means waking up at 5:50 A.M. to see if the Easter bunny came,
having breakfast with the W family and making Evelyn smile.
It means hunting for eggs in the front yard,
and smiling for pictures, pictures, and more pictures.
Easter means lots of hugs with cousins,

wearing silly bunny hats,
and waking Papa up after he falls asleep in his cozy chair.
It means finding a spot on daddy's lap to relax and take it all in.
Most of all, Easter means being with family and making sweet, precious memories.

Easter Eggs

We dyed Easter eggs today! I was really good at splashing the bright colors everywhere as I not-so-delicately placed each egg in the colored water. I was not as good at carrying the set of colored eggs that were drying on the box... oops. I think the cracks give them character.

Bunny Hop

Easter Egg Hunt Practice Session...

Waiting for the official Easter egg hunt to begin...
Can you spot mommy? (she wearing the light pink sweatshirt)
I did pretty well with a total of six eggs.
The Gholz Family was there too! I love Nicholas and Brooks.

Reid wanted in on the egg action, but was just a spectator this year.

Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh My!

A trip to the zoo was a great way to spend Saturday afternoon.

This tiger is OKAY to ride on.

This lion is NOT OKAY to ride on.

Well hello, Mr. Polar Bears.

Zing Zang Zoooom!

The Ringling Brothers circus was in town this weekend. I went to the show with mommy, Kelly, Brooks and Nicholas. We had so much fun and think it is the greatest show on earth!

This little sugar stayed home for some special time with Great Aunt Sue! :)

Tea for Twelve

I helped Libby celebrate her 5th birthday with a fancy tea party at the Enchanted Village! It was soooo much fun to dress up, make cookies, and be princesses for the day.

Not Quite Cocoa Krispies

Reid had his first taste of rice cereal! He seemed to like it, but it's probably because he doesn't know that "chocolate farms" (Lucky Charms) and "loop loops" (Fruit Loops) exist.
